My older sisters will probably come dressed nicely again this time... Am I the only one worried about wearing last year's clothes for women's autumn golf wear?

My older sisters will probably come dressed nicely again this time... Am I the only one worried about wearing last year's clothes for women's autumn golf wear?
Whenever I have a golf appointment, there is something that comes to mind before my score. I wonder if the ladies I’m playing with will be wearing new golf clothes again this time. Clothes I wore well last year suddenly look old, and when I open a shopping app, oatmeal knits and deep green polo shirts keep catching my eye. However, it feels like a waste to change my entire outfit just for one round, so I keep my charcoal golf pants as they are and start by changing just the top that sits close to my face.
I also carried over last year's warm beige vest and cream golf shoes. However, when the four of us actually gather on the course, how the colors are mixed catches the eye before who is wearing the new items.

Women's Fall Golf Wear: Check the Fit of Last Year's Pants First
If you have charcoal or navy golf pants from last year, try them on before choosing a new knit sweater. I've found that pants that have been hanging in the closet for a while sometimes feel different in the thighs before the waist.
Sit deeply into the chair as if sitting on a cart, then stand up and slightly lift one leg. If the front of my thighs doesn't feel tight and my stomach isn't pressed too hard, I leave them as they are. Conversely, if the knees are stretched out significantly or the hem bunches up in multiple layers over my golf shoes, that is when I change the pants.
After steaming out the wrinkles and removing even the smallest dust, there were some clothes that made me wonder, "Did this really look that old?" Now that the pants have been saved, all that remains is the top, which is closest to the face in the photo.
Golf knitwear for people in their 40s and 50s, colors close to the face

There are days when, when I look in the mirror early in the morning, my face looks duller than usual. If I add the black top I wore last year to that, I find myself wanting to apply bold lipstick for no reason.
In this case, mix in a thin half-zip knit in a shade like oatmeal or soft lavender that leaves some brightness around the face. If you want to create a bit more of an autumn vibe, a deep green collared knit with reduced saturation pairs well with charcoal pants.
If you are in your 40s or 50s, a fit that allows about a finger's width of room in the forearm is more comfortable to move in than sleeves that cling tightly to the arms. Choose a hem length that stops around the hips. If you wear a knit sweater that reaches down to your hips to cover your stomach, the waistline of your pants disappears, making your legs look shorter in full-body photos.
Just changing the top changes the feel of last year's pants as well. However, a morning round in October is quite chilly to stand on the first hole wearing only a knit sweater.
Autumn golf vest, new knitwear for last year's outerwear

On days when morning temperatures drop to around 10 degrees, your fingertips can get cold from the very first hole. Over your new knitwear, wear the warm beige or deep navy lightweight vest you wore last year. Pairing a deep navy vest with an oatmeal knit, or a warm beige vest with a deep green knit, changes the vibe of the same outerwear as last year. If you choose a vest that doesn't bulge out at the sides like a balloon and isn't long enough to completely cover your hips, it will be less bothersome while swinging.
Since temperatures can rise to nearly 20 degrees during the day, leave the vest in the cart once you start to feel warm after a few holes. Also, put thin gloves and a small hand warmer in the inside pocket of your golf bag. Once you’ve chosen your vest, if you start getting greedy and adding a hat and golf shoes, the number of colors will gradually increase.
Women's golf outfit, color coordination with a beige cap and cream golf shoes
I pair an oatmeal knit sweater with charcoal pants and a beige cap and cream golf shoes. Even on days I wear a deep green knit sweater, I leave the pants and cap as they are. I don't change everything just because I changed the top.
If it rained the day before, grass stains will quickly appear on the toes and soles of cream golf shoes. Wipe off the dirt from your existing shoes first, then put a shoe tissue in your golf bag. Even old golf shoes will look less worn in photos if the toes and sides are clean.
If you start matching the hat color exactly to the top, you might end up with too many colors. If you just keep the brightness of the cap and shoes similar, another color won't come between the oatmeal and charcoal.

Women's golf group photo; next to the older sisters, the number of colors is the first thing you see.
We finally meet in front of the clubhouse, and one woman is wearing a burgundy knit sweater while the other is wearing a navy vest. When women in their 40s and 50s get together, they pretend not to notice each other's clothes, but a comment like, "That knit color is pretty," comes out almost immediately.
However, it is difficult to tell whether an item is new or from last year until you ask. When four of us stand side by side for a photo, it is actually my outfit that stands out more—either being overly flashy or having a color scheme that is interrupted multiple times. I stick to just three or four pieces: an oatmeal knit, charcoal pants, a beige cap, and cream golf shoes. The charcoal pants from last year, which I was so self-conscious about the day before the round, have no presence at all once I get on the course.
My friend saw my new knitwear and was the first to say something.
“Oh? That color is pretty. Did you buy a new one?”

I guess I don't really need to mention that the pants are from last year.
