My hands are freezing from the 7th inning onwards, I won't even be able to cheer… Women's baseball stadium outfits for the sudden drop in night temperatures in October
The start time of a game is quite important at a baseball stadium in October. For a daytime weekend game, a long-sleeved shirt is fine in the sunlight, but it gets cool as the sun sets; for evening games, the wind is quite chilly right from the moment you enter. I put on a thin oatmeal-colored knit sweater, drape my cheering uniform over it, and then pair it with charcoal straight pants and my usual sneakers.
Carry the navy zip-up jacket in your arm and put a foldable lightweight vest in your bag. Keeping it light while cheering and allowing you to add another layer right away at night—just preparing this much makes a significant difference after the 7th inning.

Especially since a baseball stadium isn't a place where you move around continuously for two or three hours. You stand up briefly to cheer, then sit back down, and sit again. After the sun sets, a cold sensation rises first from your fingertips or knees.
If you wear a thick knit sweater under a baseball uniform, it feels stuffy starting from the arms.
If you plan to wear a cheering uniform, what you wear underneath is quite important. If you layer the uniform over a thick sweatshirt, your shoulders and arms will suddenly feel sluggish. When you raise your arms holding a cheering stick, the sleeves may bunch up, and your neck area may feel constricted.
If it were me, I would try wearing a thin round-neck knit or a long-sleeved T-shirt first, and then drape the uniform over it. Try raising your arms once, and if your armpits and shoulders don't feel tight, just go with it.
When it gets colder at night, it is better to leave some room so you can wear a zip-up jacket over your uniform rather than keeping the inside thick. It also keeps your team's uniform visible and makes it easy to take off and put on depending on the temperature.

Once you get past the 7th inning, you feel the baseball stadium wind before you feel the thickness of the knitwear.
As you sit in the stands, at some point, the people around you start zipping up their jackets one by one. Especially in the aisle seats or those where the wind blows directly, it gets cool much faster than you might have expected during the day.
Thick, loosely woven sweaters look warm, but they feel surprisingly bare when the wind blows in. That is when you take out a lightweight vest or a thin windproof zip-up jacket from your bag.
You really need to sit down to see the length of your outerwear. If it's too long, it will get stuck under the seat and constantly bunch up behind your lower back. If the length settles just above and below your hips, you'll find yourself pulling at your clothes less when standing up or sitting down. When you start hearing the sound of zippers being zipped up around you, you'll think, "Ah... it's time to come."
Women's baseball match outfit: Are the pants okay even if I sit for 3 hours?

When choosing pants for a game, how you look while sitting in a chair is more important than how you look standing in front of a mirror. Even if tight-fitting denim looks nice the first time you wear it, after a few times, you might find yourself self-conscious about your stomach and thighs. If you choose a fit like charcoal or navy straight pants that has enough room in the thighs to fit a few fingers and allows the knees to bend naturally, you will notice a difference when sitting for a long time.
Try sitting in the chair as if you were watching a game at home. As soon as you sit down, you can immediately see if the waist button is being touched or if the fabric above the knees is being pulled taut.
The hem should end just above the sneakers. It’s really annoying to have to worry about the pant hem when so many people are moving up the stairs at the same time after the game ends.
Things to take out of your bag when your knees are cold at the baseball stadium
Some people say that as night falls, their knees get colder before their upper body. This is especially true because they sit in the same position for several hours. It is a good idea to take out a small, foldable lap blanket or a thin blanket at this time. However, since permitted items and size restrictions may vary by stadium, it is safer to check the guidelines of the venue you plan to visit before you leave.

If you don't have one, you can take off a lightweight vest and place it on your knees for a moment. Put it back on when you start cheering. If your hands get particularly cold, a pair of thin gloves takes up almost no space. Rather than thick winter gloves, a thin type that allows you to use your phone and cheer is sufficient.
There is a difference between the sneakers and the bag after the game.
Just because the ninth inning is over doesn't mean you arrive home immediately. You have to go down the stairs, follow the crowd to the exit, and walk again to catch the subway or bus. This is why I chose sneakers that I’ve worn for a long time and am used to. Even if I suddenly walk a lot after sitting for hours, the balls of my feet don't get compressed, and I don't have to worry as much about heels on stairs.
I choose a bag after actually putting what I need inside. It’s frustrating when you only think about your phone and wallet, but then try to fit a power bank, thin gloves, and a folded vest in as well, only to find the zipper won’t close. On days like this, a size that fits everything I need at once works well, rather than a mini bag that is too small.
Regulations regarding bags and allowed items may vary by stadium, so please check the official guidelines before visiting.

If you have put your hands inside your sleeves about 7 times, it is time to take out the thin gloves from your bag.
