I was wondering what to wear for fall golf and travel... Han Ji-hye showed us how to dress for autumn these days
My closet suddenly gets cluttered just from having two or three weekend plans overlap. I feel like I need a separate outfit for the golf course, I worry about photos when I travel, and if I have plans to visit an art museum, I have to agonize over whether to wear sneakers or pull out my boots. I mean... I mean, I should just throw on an outfit and go out, but why does I end up adding a new outfit every time a new schedule is added? Haha. Am I the only one like this?

I was a bit surprised while looking at Han Ji-hye's photos. She wore gray and black at the golf course, a black top with denim while traveling, and a beige cardigan and brown long skirt at the art museum, but it was difficult to group these three outfits into a single autumn formula. Instead, only the essential parts were changed for each location. I thought that this kind of style is actually more practical to use in real life.
I was looking for beige first for fall golf... Gray with black knee socks?
The golf look consists of a gray long-sleeved top and a pleated skirt in the same shade. I was a bit surprised by the color choice right from the start. When I think of autumn golf, I instinctively picture beige or brown. With the grass and the surrounding scenery gradually shifting toward autumn, I felt this strange sense of obligation that my clothes should be in those colors as well...? But Han Ji-hye just stuck with gray throughout.

Since the top and skirt are in a similar color family, even with the pleats, the top and bottom don't look like they are sharply cut off; instead, I actually stopped at the leg area.
I paired it with black knee socks! If the bottom of the short pleated skirt had been exposed, it would have looked like golf wear for a lighter season, but since the black bottom is extended below the knee, it feels like the season has moved one step forward compared to when I only wore a long-sleeved top.
If it were me, I think I would have agonized over this again. Since the top is gray, should I match the socks to gray...? Or since it's golf, should I just go with white? I don't know why there are so many options just to put on an outfit when you start worrying about things like this lol.
Han Ji-hye went straight for black, but the gray at the top actually stands out more distinctly, and even with the cap and sunglasses added, the colors don't scatter here and there, making it look neat.

When you have a golf appointment around this time of year, checking the weather app multiple times the day before is quite a chore, isn't it? I also check the morning temperature to pick out a long-sleeved shirt, only to reconsider after seeing the daytime temperature... In the end, I pack this and that, but once the round starts, the only clothes left piled up are the ones I've taken off.
I wonder who they brought it for lol. On a day like this, it would actually be simpler to just wear a proper long-sleeved shirt from the start and adjust the leg area with knee socks.
I'm the person who agonizes over three pairs of clothes on a trip but ends up wearing the jeans the longest...
When traveling to a mountainous destination, the outfit suddenly becomes simple. It’s a black top and denim—actually, that sounds too familiar just by hearing the description. However, if you look at the photo, the neckline of the black top is wide open, with a long necklace hanging down from below. That explains why the lower part of the face looks much less stifled than when wearing just a basic T-shirt and jeans.

Whenever the day before a trip comes around, I unnecessarily get greedy and pack accessories. I put in two pairs of earrings and an extra necklace... and maybe one more just in case? I wonder what on earth is going to happen at the destination, haha. Usually, once I actually arrive, I end up wearing the same earrings I wore on the first day, but I don't know why people get so diligent when packing.
A friend I traveled with a while ago went under the bed at our accommodation on the last day because one of her earrings had gone missing. I even lay face down on the floor to search for a long time, but it eventually came out of her pouch. Hey... give me back those 20 minutes! Since then, I’ve cut down on the accessories I wear when traveling, but if you wear a black top with a defined neckline and just a long necklace like Han Ji-hye, that seems to be enough.

The denim also has a relaxed drape rather than a tight fit. Even setting aside the fact that I’m traveling, I find myself reaching for these jeans often. They generally go well with a change of top, and I feel less self-conscious when sitting down or standing up. I also like that I didn't have to switch to dark blue denim just because it’s autumn. The jeans I usually wear remain the same, but the neckline of the black top and the necklace make it look like a completely different outfit.
Come to think of it, I do feel a bit guilty for looking for new clothes as soon as the trip dates were set. I have perfectly good jeans at home, so I don't know why I suddenly become someone with absolutely nothing to wear whenever I say I'm going on a trip... Well, I'm still going to open a shopping app. It's not because I have nothing, but just because I want to look around haha.
With a beige cardigan and a brown skirt, wouldn't you expect loafers? But they're black boots.
At the art museum, I wore a beige cardigan with a subtle pattern and a brown long skirt. If I had only seen that much, I think I would have already finished the look with brown shoes as well. Since it's a beige cardigan and a brown skirt, I would have thought, "Brown loafers... done!" and walked out.

However, Han Ji-hye wore black boots. Ah... I realized I had tried to match the look too innocently again. The cardigan and long skirt were already calm enough, so there was no need to continue the shoes in the same color family. Since the skirt is long, the boots aren't fully visible, and the black just extends from the hem, so they don't stand out as much as I expected.

It’s even more fun that the brown shoulder bag remains a color close to the skirt. Since I didn’t match the bag in black as well, the black at my feet stands out clearly. I have a habit of trying to match the colors down to the very last detail whenever I wear beige clothes, so a beige cardigan, a brown skirt, a brown bag, brown shoes... Wait a minute. At this rate, I’m going to turn into a latte haha. It would actually be better to just have a pair of black boots.

After looking at the three outfits, I don't really want to categorize them into a single autumn styling formula. At the golf course, I was drawn to the black knee socks nestled between the gray; on the trip, the wide-open black top and long necklace left a lasting impression; and at the art museum, I stopped for a moment over the black boots, which I would never normally have chosen.

Some days, a pair of socks can change the outfit, other days a necklace is enough, and on still other days, choosing an unexpected shoe color might be better. There is no need to dress exactly the same way as everyone else. For now, I think I'll start by looking for some black knee socks for my next golf outing.
But when the day before comes...? I'm going to open the weather app again. Not just once, but about three times. Ah... I guess I can't break this habit no matter how well I dress, haha.
