Gasp! This combination is surprisingly fresh... Seolhyun has great style wearing a navy hoodie with a black skirt.

Wow, this combination is surprisingly fresh.

You know how when you take out a hoodie, you instinctively reach for jeans first. They’re so familiar that you don’t even hesitate. But Seolhyun wore a black skirt. Huh? Wait... this one looks cuter? Seeing things like this makes me wonder if she wasn't short on clothes, but simply hadn't tried out many different combinations. Seolhyun’s casual outfits are mostly comfortable, but if you look closely, there is always one thing that falls short in an unexpected way.

Seolhyun lettering sweatshirt, denim mini skirt... even the baseball cap is turned backwards.

With a cream-colored lettering sweatshirt and a light-wash denim mini skirt, the colors themselves are light. However, she pulled her black socks up high and wore heavy black shoes. If she had worn white sneakers, it would have been a familiar look, but by darkening the toes, the sweatshirt and denim stand out more vividly. Oh... the shoes are bigger than I thought.

The length of the sweatshirt is just right. It isn't long enough to completely cover the mini skirt, nor is it a short crop that exposes the waist, so it retains that comfortable, casual feel. Whenever I wear a sweatshirt with a mini skirt, I find myself checking the mirror several times because of the top's length. If it's too long, the skirt disappears, and if it's too short, I end up touching the hem all day long.

I turned the navy baseball cap back and tied my hair loosely in pigtails on both sides. This matches my current outfit much better than a hat worn neatly. Even the way I flash a V sign in front of the cafe before entering is a perfect match for the look. You know how sometimes you like photos from days like this more than when you dressed up too much?

Navy hoodie and black skirt... it wasn't jeans, it was this.

Ah, I hadn't thought of this. A long black skirt hangs down from beneath a navy zip-up hoodie. Whenever I thought of a hoodie, I almost automatically assumed jeans or jogger pants, but Seolhyun completely skipped that formula.

The fact that the skirt falls loosely rather than clinging to the body also plays a part. Since both are relaxed pieces, they don't feel awkward together; the hoodie is comfortable, but the skirt doesn't feel like it suddenly appeared at the bottom. The white baseball cap and socks tucked in between the dark clothes also show good taste.

If you're the type to grab a hoodie first when stepping out briefly in front of the house, this is worth a try. Wait, why have I been looking for pants all this time? There's a perfectly good skirt in the closet.

Striped shirt, gray denim... it looks prettier unbuttoned.

Wow, the sunlight is so nice... The orange light from the rooftop makes the light striped shirt look even softer. I'm wearing a fitted white sleeveless top underneath and have left the shirt buttons unbuttoned. The shirt is being used more like a thin outer garment than a shirt.

I like that I wore faded gray denim instead of dark blue here. The combination of sky-blue stripes and gray pants creates a comfortable look where the overall color scheme isn't too intense. The checkered bag stands out with its strong pattern, yet strangely, it doesn't feel excessive. Since the top and pants are so clean and simple, there was room for the bag to fit in.

The moment you button the shirt all the way up and tuck it into your pants, it becomes a completely different outfit. Leaving it open like this makes the hem move in the wind, and the white inner layer is visible and then hidden, making it feel much lighter. I find myself reflecting a little on whether I've been wearing shirts too strictly...

White sleeveless washed denim... I wondered why she tied the lime green knit around her waist, and then I realized

At first, I noticed the lime-colored knit... I wondered why it was tied around the waist when it wasn't even going to be worn, but after taking it off and thinking about it, I immediately understood. If you just have the white sleeveless top and washed denim, it's actually quite a familiar combination. With that lime piece peeking out from the waist, the outfit suddenly feels much more lively.

The sleeveless top features a design where the hem overlaps and moves, rather than a basic style that falls straight, so it looks quite pretty from the back. Pairing it with a baseball cap and sunglasses perched on top creates a look that perfectly matches the vibe of someone stepping into a shop to browse accessories.

You often pick up a brightly colored knit sweater in the store because it looks pretty, only to find yourself in a dilemma once you get home. Thinking it might be a bit too flashy today, you put it back down... and that goes on for months. But I guess you don't necessarily have to think of wearing it only as a top. I just tied it around my waist, and it just shows off the color between a white top and jeans—doesn't it? Ah, I really should remember this method.
