Whenever I take out my Chanel bag, choosing an outfit becomes a hassle for no reason. I feel like I should match my outfit to some extent since the bag is so nice, and when I wear sneakers, I find myself looking in the mirror again, wondering if they look too casual.

You know how sometimes, even for a simple lunch date, you end up looking like you're heading to a solo event? But Park Ha-sun is the exact opposite. A Chanel bag with white pants and sneakers, and on another day, even tweed and shorts. Ah, I see, you don't necessarily have to go overboard just because it's a nice bag.

Comfortable yet luxurious black jacket and white wide-leg pants outfit

Even when I want to buy white pants, the worrying starts before I get to the checkout counter. What if my thighs look bigger? What if my underwear shows through? On a day like today, if I spill coffee on them, it's game over.

So, I am actually more realistically drawn to white wide-leg pants that fall loosely, like Park Ha-sun's. By anchoring the upper body with a black jacket and layering a striped inner top, the outfit doesn't look too stiff even though it is a black and white look.

Above all, I like the combination of carrying a Chanel bag and wearing sneakers. If she had worn pumps as well, the vibe would have been completely different, but she toned down the footwear. It feels like she is carrying the nice bag just like an everyday black bag, without giving it special treatment.

If I were to dress similarly, I think I would start by looking for white pintuck wide-leg pants or semi-wide-leg pants. I feel more comfortable with white pants that have a certain density rather than thin, flowy fabrics, so that pocket lines or underwear lines show less. Oh, and I don't know why I crave tteokbokki and jjamppong so much on days I wear white pants. It feels a bit unfair to have to be self-conscious about my lunch menu just because of an outfit.

An elegant, effortless look with black short-sleeved tweed shorts

Strangely, I am happiest when trying on tweed in the store. Standing in front of the mirror, I feel like I’ll wear it at least twice a week. But once I bring it home, I suddenly find myself looking forward to my wedding date.

Park Ha-sun completely broke that formula. She wore a short-sleeved tweed top with black shorts and even added a straw hat, and even with a second Chanel bag, it doesn't look overly dressed up.

I think the hat is quite important here. If it had just been tweed and Chanel, it would have gone straight in the elegant direction, but thanks to that single straw hat, it suddenly became an outfit suitable for a trip or a weekend outing.

Feeling a bit hesitant about shorts? Then I go for black Bermuda shorts without hesitation. They retain the neat, polished look of tweed while being much more comfortable on the legs. You don't necessarily have to dress exactly like the photos to be a "copycat." When choosing a short-sleeved tweed jacket, a design that allows for comfortable arm movement is actually better for practical use than one that is too thick and structured. If the entire jacket rides up with your arm just by lifting it once... well, you're just becoming a precious guest in your closet again.

A youthful gray cardigan layered with a white shirt

Wait a minute. I have a gray cardigan and a white shirt, so why did I always wear them separately? This outfit makes you think about combinations before buying new clothes. By layering a gray cardigan over a white shirt and leaving the hem and sleeves naturally exposed, it doesn't look boring even though I'm wearing just basic items.

I particularly like that the shirt isn't styled too neatly. If someone in their 40s layers a cardigan incorrectly over a shirt, it can end up looking too formal for work, but creating a difference in length like this makes it feel much lighter.

If you feel uncomfortable replicating the mini bottoms exactly, a black A-line skirt is a good option, and you could even try pairing it with Bermuda shorts. For shoes, you can go for a feminine look with Mary Janes or opt for slim sneakers for a more relaxed vibe.

At this point, I should probably open my closet first rather than the shopping mall. I went in to buy a cardigan, but ended up buying a shirt...

It’s not like this is the first or second time I’ve had to make payments. Let’s give the bank account a rest today.

Park Ha-sun's best-fitting Chanel bag effortless chic outfit

Looking at the three again, I think the first combination of a black jacket and white wide-leg pants suits Park Ha-sun best. The second tweed outfit feels the most stylish, and the third layered shirt looks the easiest for us to replicate right away. However, I like the first one because of its comfortable vibe, where it doesn't feel overwhelming at all even while carrying a Chanel bag.

In particular, I want to copy the combination of white wide-leg pants and sneakers. If you don't have a Chanel bag, a black mini bag or chain shoulder bag you already own will suffice. In reality, bringing this combination over would be much more practical than buying the exact same bag.

I guess "effortlessly chic" doesn't really mean avoiding expensive clothes. It means carrying a nice bag, wearing comfortable pants, and sneakers, without fighting over who looks more expensive. I find that I never get tired of this kind of outfit, even after looking at it for a long time.

So I was thinking of just looking for white pintuck wide-leg pants... but wait, at this rate, I’ll be looking at a black jacket and a chain bag too. Shopping always starts with just a pair of pants and ends up becoming a big deal. Which combination of the three Park Ha-sun outfits do you like best?
