It’s rare to find an actor with such a cute appearance who delivers swear words so convincingly. I heard that when he was struggling financially and couldn't afford the acting academy fees, he boldly asked the director to invest in him personally, which even helped him get a discount on the tuition.
After making your debut in the play *Return to Hamlet* in 2011 and becoming a major star as a member of the *SNL Korea* crew, there is talk that you wanted to break away from your SNL image and show your potential as an actor. Since then, you have grown more and more while focusing solely on acting.

She won the Best New Actress award at the KBS Drama Awards for *Discovery of Romance*, and in *Oh My Ghost*, despite playing a ghost, she delivered an impressive performance, including a final scene of intense crying. In 2020, she even clinched the Excellence Award for Best Actress at the MBC Drama Awards for *Memories of Man*. The actress who has built such a filmography is none other than Kim Seul-gi.
I have been busy on the theater stage this year. In the first half, I took the stage as a banker in *The French Bank*, and in the second half, I showed a new side of myself by playing the role of Jessica in Shakespeare's *The Merchant of Venice* at the National Theater's Haeoreum Theater. Hearing that you recently wrapped up the performances and bid farewell on stage, I became even more curious about what you looked like in your casual clothes.
Backstage look completed with a check blazer and a blue jumpsuit
It was an outfit featuring a dark check pattern blazer layered over a blue jumpsuit. The jumpsuit collar had a clean, shirt-like design, which maintained a neat impression even under the casual jacket. Two belt details at the waist added a subtle accent to the jumpsuit, which could have otherwise been plain.

The short haircut also matched this outfit well. Since the neckline was clearly exposed, the check pattern on the blazer stood out more distinctly on the upper body. I heard this photo was taken on the set of the French vault shoot.
The natural smile characteristic of mirror selfies made the potentially stiff check blazer combination feel much more comfortable.
The silhouette in the pictorial completed with a red shirt
The photoshoot was completed with a single red oversized shirt. Because the sleeves had a wide, flared silhouette, simply raising the arms created dramatic movement across the entire outfit. The color was so vivid that the red definitely stood out, even against a light gray background.

The composition, with the model standing in profile holding a small teddy bear at her fingertips, was impressive. Even though the photo captured only the silhouette of her face, the single color of red clearly established the atmosphere. I heard it was a pictorial for a magazine's 11th anniversary. The outfit itself is simple, but the way the pose and lighting alone can create such a different mood made the production of that moment catch my eye before the clothes themselves.
A comfortable everyday look completed with a white knit and denim
I paired a white V-neck knit with light-wash denim. The knit sleeves were slightly puffed, adding a cute detail to the item itself despite the simple white tone. As the bootcut denim met the length of the knit, it made my legs look naturally longer.

I liked unifying the tone from head to toe with white sneakers. Since I matched the top, bottom, and shoes in bright tones, the photos didn't look cramped even in the narrow hallway and came out bright and cheerful. There were two photos where I was making a V pose with both hands; in one, both hands were raised above my head, while in the other, only one was raised. It was fun to see how the vibe of the photos changed just with a hand gesture, even though I was wearing the same outfit.
Dressing room look completed with a denim peplum top
It was an outfit consisting of a denim peplum top paired with denim pants in the same tone. Because the peplum’s signature ruffled hem flares out below the waist, the feminine silhouette was definitely accentuated, even though denim can sometimes feel stiff. Matching the top and bottom in the same denim also created a tone-on-tone effect.

It was also worth noting the glossy accent on the toes from the silver pointed heels. These single heels served to add a touch of formality to the casual denim material. The layered necklaces around the neck also added subtle details to the simple denim top. The way she leaned against the dressing table seemed to perfectly capture the relaxed waiting time characteristic of backstage.
An actor's wardrobe completed by a single vibe
Looking at your outfits again—from a plaid blazer to a red shirt, white knit, and denim peplum—the tones and backgrounds were all different, yet your expression and mood conveyed distinctly differently in each photo. The comfort of the backstage, the dramatic flair of a pictorial, the radiance of everyday life, and the relaxed ease of the waiting room—it was all captured within one person.
True to the nature of an actor who delivers swear words with such flair despite their cute face, it seems they effortlessly switch between such contrasting looks even in casual clothes. Since they just bid farewell on stage, I am already curious to see what kind of look they will return with next.
※ This is my personal interpretation based solely on the atmosphere conveyed in the released photos.
